Glans are timeless shoes, which without the slightest shadow of a doubt can be called a "classic". Not everyone knows that the origin of these shoes goes back to a skiing accident in 1945. It was more than half a century ago that German doctor Klaus Märtens started the ubiquitous trend. A twisted ankle on the slopes forced the creation of leather shoes with soft soles that reached above the ankle.
